Service is a big deal to me and attention to detail. This quaint restaurant in Grassy key is great. Service was spot on - Anthony was very attentive and made great meal suggestions.
The Ahi Tuna with their ying yang sauce was excellent! Key lime pie and carrot cake were delectable. -

This was the closest restaurant to where we were staying. Our expectations, due to lack of options, weren't great. But this place was pretty good and we would visit again without a doubt!
When we arrived we were promptly greeted by the a nice host and seated at a table. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Both informed us of the specials and brought our drinks promptly.
For an appetizer we had the Fish Dip and the Conch Fritters. They were both very good, and I would definitely order the Conch Fritters with their special sauce again. For our main course I ordered just the Mahi (no sides) as I was pretty full already. It was fresh and delicious. The hubby had the special of the day, which were Shrimp and Pineapple skewers. They were very good, but the dish felt small considering this was the special of the day. 3 skewers instead of 2 would really make this review a 5 starer!
By this point, we were pretty stuffed, but when in the Keys you have to have some Key Lime Pie at some point. This one did not disappoint! In fact, it was one of the best we've ever had. It is truly homemade and it has that perfect balance of tart and sweet. My favorite part, the crust, was delicious. Not to mention the home made whip cream! Make sure you don't miss out on ordering a portion on your visit, you will not regret it! -

Found SS Wreck & Galley thanks to Yelp, obviously.
I prefer to enjoy seafood when visiting the Keys, yet, I was not very impressed with their menu so I went with the Buccaneer's Baby Back Ribs. As you can see on my pics, these is not a fancy restaurant. Nevertheless, I think the food was pretty good.
The restaurant offers different options for Oysters. On this occasion, I went grilled instead of raw:). The Oysters were actually pretty darn good, just right out of the oven and very well balanced.
Anyway, going back to those ribs! A full rack was enough to satisfy my hunger right there and then later in my apartment. It was so big that I feel like two people can have a decent meal each out of this plate. Let me tell, you I was very skeptical a seafood place would have decent ribs but men, I was wrong ! I don't think I have recently eaten Ribs so well cooked. The meat was falling right of the bone and it was perfectly seasoned. I would go back from ribs to this place, Period ! -

Came here for vacation for a few days, this was the first place we ate at. They had an extensive menu. The food was really well cooked. The outside seating was nice. I had tried one of their burgers, which was a great choice! The burger was very nicely grilled and the fries that went with it were perfect. Probably one of the best restaurants you can find around here.

Nice ambiance & many interesting options. We tried conch soup & gator bites for first time. Got authentic sea food eating experience after a long time. Will try again if I ever visit key west
